Privacy policy
We only collect what we need to handle your enquiry. Here is what we do with it. Effective from 11 October 2026.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Custom Factory s.r.o., Company ID 09751751, Dukelských hrdinů 968/8, 170 00 Praha 7, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague.

What we collect and why
When you send us an enquiry, we process your name, company, email, phone, project description, selected products, uploaded files (logo, artwork) and technical details of the submission (date and IP address, to protect against spam).
We use this data only to prepare a quote, agree on the project and produce it. The legal basis is entering into and performing a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep IP addresses briefly based on our legitimate interest in protecting the site from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We don’t use your data for advertising, we don’t sell it and we don’t make automated decisions about you.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t turn into an order are deleted within 2 years at the latest. If an order follows, we keep the data for as long as accounting and tax law requires (usually 10 years). Anti-spam records are deleted within 1 hour.
Who we share it with
Only with providers who help us run the website and our projects, and only as far as necessary:
- WEDOS Internet, a.s. – website and email hosting (servers in the Czech Republic),
- providers of the tools we use to manage orders and email,
- carriers, if we ship finished goods to you.
All of them are bound by confidentiality and may use the data only on our behalf. If data is ever transferred outside the EU, this happens only with safeguards under the GDPR.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses no cookies, advertising or third-party tracking tools. Your browser only stores the contents of your enquiry list (localStorage) so it isn’t lost as you move between pages. It stays on your device and you can delete it at any time.
We measure traffic with our own simple tool on our own server, without cookies and without third-party services. We record only which pages were viewed, where you came from (the domain of the previous website), device type, browser and site language, and whether you used the enquiry list or form. We do not store your IP address. Visits are told apart by a fingerprint that changes every day, so you cannot be recognised across days or traced back. Aggregated data is deleted after 400 days. We do this based on our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The map on the home page is loaded from OpenStreetMap, which sees your IP address when it loads.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. Just email info@customfactory.cz and we’ll reply within 30 days.
If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
